Terms & Conditions

1. Scope

These Terms apply to all bespoke carpentry services provided by Wilde Homes Group Limited within the UK, including design, manufacture, and installation of media walls, fitted furniture, and similar works for both consumers (B2C) and businesses (B2B).

2. Definitions

We/us' refers to Wilde Homes Group Limited. 'You' refers to the customer. 'Services' means bespoke carpentry and installation. 'Goods' means materials supplied as part of the Services.

3. Quotations & Specifications

Quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. All drawings and specifications are indicative; minor variations may occur during manufacture or installation.

4. Bespoke Orders & Cancellations

All work is bespoke and made to your specifications. Once design approval is given and materials are ordered, cancellation rights under distance selling regulations do not apply. Your statutory rights for faulty workmanship or materials remain unaffected.

5. Payment Terms

A 50% deposit is required to commission materials and secure the order. The remaining 50% balance is payable on the day of completion. We reserve the right to withhold delivery or installation until payments due are received.

6. VAT

We are not currently VAT registered; prices are exclusive of VAT.

7. Scheduling & Access

Estimated lead times and installation dates are provided but may vary due to supplier delays or site conditions. You must ensure clear access, parking, and a prepared area for installation.

8. Installation

We will perform services with reasonable skill and care. Installation may involve drilling, fixing, and making good; minor cosmetic works (e.g., paint touch-ups) are your responsibility unless agreed otherwise.

9. Variations & Extras

Changes requested after design approval may affect price and timescales. Variations will be confirmed in writing with costs agreed before proceeding.

10. Delivery, Risk & Title

Risk in materials passes to you upon delivery to site or installation. Title to goods remains with us until full payment is received.

11. Quality & Snagging

On completion, we will invite you to inspect and identify reasonable snags; we will address these promptly. Minor variations in wood grain, color, or texture are natural and do not constitute defects.

12. Warranty

We provide a 5-year structural warranty on all bespoke installations. Normal wear, misuse, and environmental changes (e.g., humidity-related movement) are excluded.

13. Photography Consent

A waiver must be signed at the property granting permission for Wilde Homes Group Limited to take images and use them for marketing purposes (website, social media, printed materials).

14. Portfolio Marketing Consent

Our contact forms include an option for customers to consent to Wilde Homes Group Limited using images of completed work for marketing purposes.

15. Health & Safety

You must ensure a safe working environment, including clear access, removal of fragile items, and keeping children and pets away from the work area. We comply with UK health and safety laws.

16. Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for site preparation, informing us of hidden services (pipes, wiring), and ensuring power supply is available.

17. Late Payment Terms (B2B)

For business customers, late payment interest may be charged in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

18. Intellectual Property

All design drawings and renders remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.

19. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control, including supplier delays, extreme weather, strikes, or transport disruptions.

20. Complaints

Complaints should be emailed to Sales@wildehomes.co.uk. We aim to resolve issues promptly and may offer Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) if unresolved.

21. Privacy & Cookies

We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. See our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for details.

22. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

23. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. We may offer ADR before court proceedings.
