Refund & Cancellation Policy

  1. Overview
    At Wilde Homes Group Limited, we specialise in bespoke joinery, including media walls, built-in bunk beds, boot rooms, utility storage, banquette seating, and outdoor furniture. All items are custom-made to order. This policy is designed to be transparent and compliant with UK consumer law.

  2. Deposits & Payments

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to place an order and secure a production slot.

  • The deposit covers design time, materials, and labour allocated specifically to your project.

  • The remaining balance is payable upon completion or on installation day, as agreed.

  1. Bespoke & Made-to-Order Items

  • All of our products are bespoke and made to your specifications.

  • Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, bespoke or personalised goods are exempt from the standard 14-day cooling-off period.

  • Once production has started:

    • Orders cannot be cancelled, and

    • Deposits are non-refundable, unless the goods are faulty or not as described.

  1. Cancellations Before Production Begins

  • You may request cancellation before production has started.

  • If design work, materials, or preparation has already taken place, we reserve the right to retain part or all of the deposit to cover costs incurred.

  • Any eligible refund will be calculated fairly and confirmed in writing.

  1. Faulty, Damaged, or Misdescribed Goods
    Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are fully respected.

If your joinery is:

  • Faulty

  • Not as described

  • Not fit for purpose

You must notify us within 14 days of installation or delivery.

Where appropriate, we will:

  • Repair the item

  • Replace the affected part

  • Offer a refund if repair or replacement is not possible

  1. Changes to Orders

  • Any changes requested after work has begun may result in additional costs and extended lead times.

  • Work already completed or materials already ordered cannot be refunded.

  1. Statutory Rights
    Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK law. We will always act fairly and in accordance with consumer protection legislation.
